Ted Fahy

In 2020, Ted was appointed Head of Global Security & Resilience for Organon (a small multinational biopharmaceutical company) . Prior to his appointment, he spent 20 years as a senior leader within Merck (a large multinational biopharmaceutical company) Global Security & Aviation Group. During that period he contributed the formation of novel business security strategies, organizational designs and change management plans to meet the requirements of a research driven biopharmaceutical company. As the Executive Director Global Security, Ted designed and led the implementation of several enterprise level protection and resiliency programs. More specifically programs in the areas of protective intelligence analysis, crisis management, business continuity, product anti-counterfeiting, corporate investigations, travel risk management, executive protection, critical asset protection and workplace security.
Preceding work at Merck, Ted held regional corporate security management positions with Arco and Amoco, both large multinational oil and gas companies. Within the Latin American region, Ted created and managed high risk management programs in support of remote exploration, production and pipeline operations. His responsibilities encompassed the management of government and community affairs, aviation, country incident management and facility security operations. His duties required extensive travel in the region and resided - for the most part - in Colombia and Venezuela.
Ted also served as a Senior Special Agent for the US Naval Investigative Service. During this period, he provided force protective intelligence and counterintelligence support to US Navy and US Marine Corps commands within the US Southern Command area of operation, based in Panama.
Ted holds an Executive Master’s degree in Leadership from Georgetown University, a Bachelor’s in Political Science degree from the University of South Alabama, and an Associate’s in Criminal Justice degree from Panama Canal College.
Ted is bilingual (English/Spanish), a US citizen, and a current resident of Pennsylvania.
