About the Job
Essential Functions:
• Develop and implement comprehensive global security strategies, policies, and procedures across all locations.
• Lead and manage the physical security operations for all data centers, including access control systems, CCTV, alarm
systems, and emergency response planning.
• Coordinate with local and international law enforcement and security agencies to establish protocols for incident
response and threat mitigation.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with industry
standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to align security measures with business objectives.
• Manage and oversee the training and performance of security personnel and teams across different regions.
• Establish crisis management and business continuity plans to address potential security incidents or natural disasters.
• Monitor global security trends and developments to continuously improve our security posture and response capabilities.
• Oversee budgeting and resource allocation for the security department.
• Foster a culture of security awareness and best practices within the organization.
Minimum Requirements:
• Proven experience in developing and implementing global security strategies.
• Strong understanding of physical security systems and technology including the continued development and oversight of
installations during the build phase.
• Subject Matter Expert for all design standards on its continued progress and evolution.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in multicultural environments.
• Ability to travel internationally as required.
• The position is based in our Dallas HQ requiring in-office attendance in addition to travel.
Experience/Skills:
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior-level security management role, preferably in data center environments or related
industries.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing global security strategies.
• Strong understanding of physical security systems and technology.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in multicultural environments.
• Ability to travel internationally as required.
Education/Certifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in security management, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
• Professional certifications in security management (e.g., CPP, PSP, CISSP) are highly desirable.
