Description:

The Sr. Director of Global Physical Security reports to the SVP, Physical Security, Investigations and Crisis Management, providing leadership over an established Physical Security program. As the subject matter expert in physical security you will own an enterprise standard that is defined by a set of controls and technical requirements. Accountable for all physical protection system controls globally, including design, implementation, performance, and related compliance protocols. You will lead a small team of physical security managers while influencing, building and maintaining collaborative partnerships with Real Estate, Sourcing, Infrastructure, Finance, and Business Leadership teams.

Must be flexible and enjoy traveling (50%), as the position requires on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week

Equifax has a hybrid work schedule that allows for 2 days of remote work (Monday/Friday), with three days onsite (Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday). The candidate will be required to work from Equifax’s Alpharetta (Atlanta) location.

What you will do:
-Gather applicable metrics and report on security risks and initiatives affecting physical systems and controls.
-Conduct Physical Security testing, including assessments, surveys, and penetration testing, tracking and remediating issues in accordance with SLAs.
-Configuration and administration of physical access control, video surveillance, and interrelated systems.
-Management of the physical and technical integration and secure decommissioning of global protection systems.
-Develop procedures and practices to protect employees and physical assets.
-Provides on-the-job guidance and assists others in identifying the skills needed to complete tasks effectively and efficiently.
-Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support the team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees and business unit management.
-Respond to, investigate, and manage security and safety related incidents.
-Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

What experience you will need:
-Bachelor's degree strongly preferred, but will consider applicable and equivalent combination of education and experience.
-7+ years experience in physical security, preferably in a global environment.
-3+ years experience managing physical security projects.
-Experience with enterprise physical security applications (CCURE, Avigilon).
-Experience effectively responding to incidents, monitoring assets, and communicating to a range of audiences utilizing various channels, including mass notification tools.
-Verifiable experience in the design and project management of security control installations, integrations, and decommissioning of new and existing facilities.
-Demonstrated experience managing security integration vendors and agreements.
-Proven experience in conducting Request For Proposals (RFP) for security vendors.
-Experience conducting Physical Security Assessments and Physical PenTests.
-Ability and willingness to learn new tools and processes.
-Ability to deliver on commitments on time.
-Ability to formulate decisions based on business and technical knowledge.
-Superb analytical, documentation, and communication skills are a must.
-Incident Response Management; and/or Experience working within a global security role.
-Working knowledge of NIST, ISO, GDPR, and PCI standards and their risk implications around physical security requirements.
-Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to interact effectively with a diverse management and employee base.
-Position continually requires demonstrated integrity, honesty, poise, tact, and diplomacy.
-Excellent organizational, interpersonal and leadership skills with ability to plan, coordinate and manage staff and operations.
-Insatiable curiosity challenging established norms (think outside the box).
-Must be flexible and enjoy traveling (50%), as the position requires on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week
