Summary: The Manager, Global Security provides security management oversight at Hershey Salty Division Company facilities globally; and may also provide security oversight for a limited number of other facilities as part of the overall Global Security portfolio. The Manager, Global Security provides leadership and analytical expertise to global management personnel, driving highly diversified projects. The Manager is responsible for the global design and control of cross-functional security processes, procedures, and strategy. This individual will participate in the department’s Enterprise Security Risk Management program, area site assessments, program prioritization and program/procedure implementation activities. Other programs include, food defense, global supply chain security, security integration with operations, investigations, workplace violence mitigation, security training/education, and as needed, M&A support. This individual provides assistance to all corporate and division facilities and personnel regarding issues such as aberrant behavior or illegal/unethical acts either by employees or directed against the Corporation, its employees and/or other stakeholders.
Major Duties/Responsibilities:
Develop and implement Crisis Management and response plans at all Salty locations. Support Global Security Senior Management in oversight for all manufacturing, retail, distribution, and office facilities and operations. Maintain and manage the company’s travel tracker management system. Assist with the Priority Alert message system. Ensure security programs, procedures, and processes are implemented globally and verify that appropriate measures are in place to provide adequate protection of company assets, personnel, product, and information. Identify significant security risks and potential mitigation measures and provide this analysis to the Global Security Management team on an ongoing basis.
Assist with the design and implementation of specialized security programs at all Salty locations in North America, and/or other facilities as required. Lead all security due diligence and support for any merger and acquisitions for the Salty or Sweets business. Other programs may include, but are not limited to, Food Defense, Global Supply Chain Security, Business Continuity, Security Integration with Operations, Workplace Violence Mitigation Training, Retail Operations, Risk Assessment, Security Infrastructure Enterprise Design, Contract Security Quality Assurance, Security, Business Intelligence & Monitoring, Investigations, Site Assessment, Information Protection, and Department Process Documentation.
