Description:

Eaton is currently seeking a Global Security Director to protect Eaton Corporation’s personnel, information, products, property, and reputation. This role will be based at our North American Headquarters, Beachwood, Ohio. Relocation assistance will be provided.

Reporting to our Chief Sustainability Officer, this role will be responsible for establishing, communicating, and implementing an enterprise-wide security strategy. Successful program leadership will result in a secure work environment, reduced costs, and a greater competitive advantage for the company. Programs include the following: Business Continuity; Travel Security; Workplace Violence Prevention; Insider Threat; Crisis Management; Loss Prevention.

In this role you will:

• Manage the global security strategy, policy, standards, risk assessments, processes, and technology to ensure adequate protection with the highest levels of controls
• Ensure a rigorous security culture and security practices are established to protect personnel, information, and property to limit exposure to liability in all areas of risk
• Deployment of comprehensive, innovative, state-of-the-art security standards to protect executive management, corporate staff, employees, contractors, and visitors
• Oversight of physical security systems, training, compliance monitoring and assessment
• Partner with Corporate Communications, IT Security, Legal, Executives, and both Local/Federal Law Enforcement agencies or task forces

Qualifications:

• Minimum 15 years’ experience in corporate, law enforcement, military, or professional security services environment. Prior federal law enforcement leadership experience highly preferred
• US Government Security Clearance, or eligibility for a security clearance is required
• Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP) certification is highly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Graduate degree preferred
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now or in the future
