As the Director of Security Services, you will be responsible for managing and developing all client-facing security services, including Audit, Compliance, vCISO, and our Cyber Defense Center (CDC).

As part of our vision for service parity with industry leading MSSPs, we have ambitious plans for the CDC to become a major new business line. This role will be pivotal in realizing that vision. Reporting directly to the CISO, the Director of Security Services will ensure the integrity and confidentiality of our clients' information while driving the growth and success of our security operations.

Other responsibilities will be:

  • You will develop, implement, and manage strategies for all client-facing cybersecurity services, maintaining a robust and compliant security posture for all of our clients
  • You will oversee and direct operations of the Cyber Defense Center (CDC), playing a key role in establishing and developing our SecOps and blue team capabilities
  • Assist in providing guidance, oversight, and leadership to the vCISO, Audit, and Compliance teams
  • Work to drive continuous improvement in security service delivery, ensuring alignment with industry standards and client needs
  • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of security practices and protocols across all services
  • You will lead and manage a team of security professionals, fostering a culture of professional growth and continuous learning
  • You will establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, promptly and professionally addressing their security needs and concerns
  • Communicating effectively with C-level executives, confidently presenting complex security strategies and updates
  • Regularly reviewing and updating company security policies and procedures in alignment with regulatory changes, industry best practices, and business needs
  • You will prepare and present security reports and updates to the CISO and other stakeholders as required

This position will require the following qualifications:

  • Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field is preferred

  • One or more advanced cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, HCISPP, CISM, C|CISO, GSEC, or OSCP is preferred

  • Extensive experience in information security, particularly in a healthcare environment, and specifically in Security Operations
  • In-depth knowledge of audit processes, HIPAA compliance, and cyber defense strategies
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to present to and communicate effectively with C-level executives
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
