Reporting to the Global VP EHS, and responsible for developing and coordinating corporate security / crisis management protocols.

At Dematic, we understand that the safety and security of our employees is paramount to our success. We are looking for an experienced Corporate Security Manager to develop, implement, and oversee our security program. The Corporate Security Manager will be responsible for the physical security and safety of our employees, contractors, and property at international project execution and service locations.

This individual will develop and implement security policies and procedures, conduct security audits and respond to physical security threats. This includes investigating security incidents, coordinating with law enforcement, internal responsibilities, and managing our response to its conclusion.

  • Drive a culture of risk readiness and proficiency across the Crisis Management team and stakeholders - be ready to jump into action with limited or no notice.
  • Maintain balance when confronted with both familiar and unfamiliar challenges. Problems you will face are often complex and numerous, requiring extensive cross-functional assessment and thorough analysis to develop and shape a successful response effort.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to drive solutions to situations that represent risk to Dematic’s assets.
  • Be a subject matter expert on Crisis Management processes, tools, and plans.

Qualifications:

This is what we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in security management, law enforcement, or related field
  • 12+ years of experience in corporate security, law enforcement, or the military, or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing security policies and procedures
  • Extensive knowledge of security equipment and systems
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, as well as project management skills to drive the implementation of large-scale EHS initiatives.
  • Prior experience in leading efforts in ISO management systems (i.e., ISO 22361, 27000)
  • Ability to work well with all levels of employees throughout the organization.
  • Must have a strong understanding and the ability to read and speak the English language. Spanish capability is standout capability.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
