Director, Corporate Security will provide leadership and operational oversight guidance across L3Harris Corporation, including convergence with information technology, human resources, communications, legal, facilities management, global trade and other functional and support organizations. The Director, Corporate Security will be expected to interface and represent the Corporation at the national level across all security disciplines- US and International. Analyze and recommend process improvements to optimize organizational efficiency to meet and exceed all customer, government and corporate policies and directives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Advance and oversee Corporate Security strategic plan
  • Coordinate at the national level with customer security representatives to ensure L3Harris maintains and exceeds compliance with customer security directives
  • Enhance and build partnerships at the national level with customers and near peer Defense Industrial Base (DIB) members
  • Customer interface to regulate and modify methods of inspection, audits and analysis to positively influence implementation of reasonable and cost effective security policy and legislation
  • Monitor compliance with and develop Corporate Security policies incorporating relevant updates and modifications
  • Collaboration with senior executives to prioritize security initiatives and spending based on appropriate risk management and/or financial methodology
  • Participate in national level government security advisory working groups, i.e., National Industrial Security Program Policy Advisory Committee (NISPPAC), Aerospace Industries Association (AIA), National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA), etc.

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 15 years prior related experience or a Graduate Degree with a minimum of 13 years of prior relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Significant leadership training
  • Demonstrated excellence in supervising large organizations
  • Possess governance and operational experience in government and/or industrial security programs at a
  • Director level overseeing large government or security organizations with worldwide operations
  • Directorate level experience with Department of Defense classified Programs, International Traffic in Arms Regulations, North Atlantic Treaty Organization, Foreign Government Information, Critical Infrastructure Protection, Research and Technology Protection, Counterintelligence, policy development, and risk analysis
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
