Peter Cheviot

Emeritus Faculty, Security Executive Council

Peter Cheviot had formerly been the Vice President of corporate security for BAX Global Inc., which he started up in 1992. Under his direction, the BAX security program developed into a recognized “Best Practices” model for Supply Chain and Logistics Security.

Peter has affiliations with Transportation Assets Protection Association, (TAPA), American Society for Industrial Security, (ASIS), International Security Management Association, (ISMA), and Security Executive Council, (SEC). He has contributed and supported development processes for initiatives with the Transportation Security Administration, (TSA) and The U.S. Customs Border and Protection Terrorist Threat program, C-TPAT. He was a consulting member of The Business Roundtables Port Security Team and has most recently been providing corporate security consultation services to private sector clients.

Prior to Vice President of BAX Security, he was Division Vice President for Burlington Air Express and Director of Ground Operations for Airborne Express. Pete and his wife Barbara were born, raised and reside on Long Island, in New York. They have four children, Janine, Peter, Elizabeth, and Christine.
